Vail's Reservationless Conferencing service supports a variety of easy-to-use conference typesreservationfrom Express conferencing for those meetings that need to happen now, to everyday Meetme conferences for team meetings, to Secure Conferencing for vital conferences that require absolute privacy. Moderators can use the conference preferences section included in the web interface to easily toggle between their preferred conference type on a per conference basis.
Express Conferencing offers a simplified dial-in and security process that lets moderators and participants quickly and easily join the call. E-mail notifications provide colleagues with the appropriate conference dial-in and PIN information ahead of time, allowing each party to immediately enter the conference. The rapid conference feature makes it especially easy for moderators: if any of their phone number is one that the conferencing system recognizes as registered to them, they can instantly join the conference without entering any information.
Meetme Conferencing provides moderators with the freedom to conduct on-demand conference calls, whenever and wherever they want, without needing to make a reservation-and with the assurance that they won't be interrupted. The moderator notifies all participants of the time and date of the call prior to the conference via email, and provides the associated conference access number and access code (PIN) information. At the time of the Meetme conference, the moderator and participants simply dial-in to the conference call while being assured that there is adequate port capacity to meet the largest of meeting sizes. Meetme conferences start as soon as the moderator joins the conference.
Secure Conferencing provides moderators with tighter control over their Meetme conferences by absolutely assuring that only the chosen participants attend. By utilizing one-time conference passwords, roll-call with name playback, and the conference lock feature, moderators can be sure that no rogue participants listen in to your Secure Conference Call. Participants can only join their conference if they enter the correct access number, access code and security code.
